This was very difficult to do, and I'm pleasantly surprised that I managed to pull this piece off.

The Wonderbolts (and Rainbow Dash.) in varying aircraft known to be used for stunt flying and air display flight. From the top-left, counter-clockwise:

Unnamed Wonderbolt in a BAE Hawk T1. (Used by the British 'Red Arrows')

Spitfire in a Spitfire (British WWII fighter)

Rainbow Dash in a Harrier (British VTOL)

Soarin in a P-51 Mustang (USAAF WWII fighter

Unnamed Wonderbolt in a F/A-18 (Used by the American 'Blue Angels')

Yes actually.

I threw realism out of the window for this. I just wanted to take iconic planes that can be associated with stunt flying, and a harrier.

Ah, hahaha. I did an enormous set of ponies in/as planes, tanks, helicopters, tons of stuff last year. This was part of that.
